Part Time Art Teaching Job Nottinghamshire consists of a dynamic, progressive and mutually supportive team. Over recent years, the department has made significant developments towards its goal of providing an appropriate and engaging Art education for all students. This is evident both in the classroom through curriculum provision and outside the classroom with extra-curricular opportunities for students. Students attend additional Art sessions at lunchtime and after school.

The Art department for this PT Art teaching job Nottinghamshire currently consists of 4 full time teaching staff of various specialism and an Art technician. During KS3 Art is compulsory for all students. Observational drawing and painting skills underpin schemes of work and students study a broad range of 2D and 3D skills, artists, topics, materials and media. This includes projects focusing on Art Textiles and 3D skills, including ceramics. Currently, students have an option to increase their Art time in Year 9 to 2 hours per week. Students who choose this option undertake an Entry Level Art qualification. At KS4 students can opt for a variety of courses in Art:
• EDEXCEL BTEC Art and Design
• OCR GCSE in Fine Art
• OCR GCSE in Textile Design (the Art and Design specification)
In Y12 and Y13 the Art Department currently offers:
