Youngsters from a community college and its feeder primary schools are mounting their own Olympic torch relay tomorrow morning. Pupils from Thomas Estley Community College in Broughton Astley will be joining runners from six other schools.
The Olympic torch will circulate through classrooms in all six feeder primary schools and the relay will take place from school to school.
It will start at St Peter’s in Whetstone to Badgerbrook, also in Whetstone, on to Cosby Primary School, followed by Hallbrook Primary School, in Broughton Astley, then Orchard Primary School, and Old Mill Primary School, which are both in Broughton Astley, before finishing at Thomas Estley Community College.
Each primary school will be providing two runners of the Olympic torch relay.
